Received an email from the Customer support unit.
In all the years of buying items on line, I have never had a company contact me in this way post purchase. You are unique and I truly appreciate this pro-active approach to ensuring a) a loyal base of customers and b) giving us the confidence that your product is exceptional in quality.
Now regarding the Coslus oral irrigator, I will start by saying the early uses of this device are a marked improvement over my previous experience with these dential hygiene devices.  To date, I had purchased two different irrigators/flosers.  The first edition, recommended by my hygienist, was good but short lived.  It required batteries and they had to be replaced frequently.  The second edition from xxxxxx, was a rechargeable model that worked for a few months and then stopped.  Fortunately, the warranty got us a new model which also had a short life with us before dying as well.  The recharging system in my opinion was a little flaky.  Now, we have Coslus, picked mostly for its good reviews and so far rightly so.  First of all, I am impressed by the capacity of the water tank.  It gives a much longer rinse cycle than any of the others. Your teeth feel clean after the tank discharges its full load.  The adjustments for massage to full strength are noticeably different and very effective.  The battery life is exceptional, a very, very, nice feature.  If we, my wife and I, had one small complaint is the insertion and removal of the tips.  The release button works of course but it takes a little twisting and pulling power to get them out.  A good thing for sure to prevent water leakage from this location when the unit is on, but a little too much for senior citizens with arthritic hands.  Feels like opening those child proof pill bottles from Costo, et al.

This is my first time buying a water flosser. I ended up going with this model, over others, for a couple of reasons: 1. It’s portable. I can travel with it without lugging around a cumbersome unit with an attached cord. 2. There are 2 ways to fill it up with water. Pop it off and fill or open the little top on the back of the water tank and fill that way. 3. Light weight/ease of use. I have a mild disability so, it’s easy to hold on, not too heavy when water is in the tank and I could operate it with one hand, if I had to. And, finally, 4. It’s waterproof. I wouldn’t suggest submerging it for a long period of time but, I can use it in the shower and not worry about it getting broken. All you have to do is make sure the plug, which covers the charging port, is secured tight. I love the sleek black design, durability and the price for the product. If you are in the market for a user friendly flosser or something simple to travel with… this product is it!

Make sure to use warm water. It feels best and is recommended to get started.

If you remove the water tank, it fills from the top. The bottom opening I use to vent it out after use.

Set the mode you want, put the tip in your mouth, then turn the water on. Trust me, that step is important. You’ll spray your whole bathroom down otherwise.

Put the tip in your mouth and aim by feel. Keep your lips neutral and slightly open so water can pour from your mouth. Lean over the sink. If you look in the mirror 1 of 2 things will happen. 1, you will spray your bathroom and self again or 2, you’ll be perfect and you have super powers.

I think it works great. I was super excited to get mine on a lightning deal too. I like this one because my bathroom is tiny and it take little space.

I agree with many of the other users; use it in the shower (buttons for turning it on and changing the strength are toward your cheek, which makes it hard to change settings during use)…if you can stand the pressure!! Holy schmoley!! It is like sticking a pressure washer in your mouth!! Owww! I tried to lower the settings and it still felt like it was about to blow a hole through my tongue, back of my throat, gums, you name it… Anything this hits hurts! And it isn’t that your aiming for anything other than your teeth, but it just shoots through ever crack and crevice. I’m going to work with it some more, but as it stands right now, I could barely give it a two star. ***Update*** I was under the impression that you had to turn the power on to change the strength mode. You do not have to turn on. Just press the mode button first. The unit will light up without pumping water. I finally got it to “soft” mode and it was much better. As a p.s. you go through 300mls of water pretty quick. I just wish they’d have put the power button on the side away from your mouth/cheek. On the bright side, if you need to pressure wash something small, this will do it!! 😂

After researching the reviews of several water flossers, I opted to give this one a try and it has not disappointed. Offers 3 pressure modes (clean, soft, and massage). Clean mode offers moderate pressure without causing any gum bleeding (may differ for others). The other modes offer a slightly different pressure that may prove to be a little easier on the gums if the clean mode pressure seems to be too much. Just like regular flossing, if it isn’t something you normally do, your gums will bleed initially, but after a few times, the bleeding resides. The water reservoir is of decent size, and I was able to make a pass along the top and bottom teeth however, I did need to refill once after the initial fill for a second pass to ensure a thorough cleaning. It’s packaged with 5 tips, 2 standard, and 3 others for multiple types of use. Battery life seems to hold strong after using several times on one charge. The size is compact for travel use. I do wish COSLUS offered a case as an accessory to purchase for travel or storage or perhaps bundle one with the flosser itself. Overall, this is an excellent water flosser which I am pleased with, and I highly recommend. It leaves me with a feeling of a clean mouth after each use. If you do not have any experience with using a water flosser, I would suggest maybe trying in the shower first until you get the hang of it otherwise you are likely to get more water on everything around you than in your mouth.

I love this water flosser. Very powerful and easy to use. Like others have said you may want to start out in the shower lol. I need to get used to shutting it off before I go to put it down hahahaha. I did start off on the soft setting to get used to it and how it feels on my gums and teeth. It really works well my mouth feels so clean!!!!!

I was recently diagnosed with gingivitis, and remembered that back in the late 90s/early 2000s, my mom’s dentist had recommended she get one of these to help with her own gum health. I couldn’t afford the name brand, but this one seemed pretty reputable.

There’s a learning curve, for sure, as my bathroom ceiling will attest. I use this in combination with flossing and using a sonic toothbrush, and maybe it’s just a placebo effect but my mouth feels nicer now than it did before.

The main thing I dislike about this particular setup is that when my hand gets wet–and it does, because I’m still clumsy while using this thing–the weight of the flosser wants to just slide it right out of my hand. It would be nice if there was something that improved grip. I also wish I could tilt it more, but because the intake tube feeds from the bottom of the reservoir, you wind up sucking air if you try. Maybe you don’t actually need to clean the back of your teeth with it, though. This is all part of me being a noob!

Anyway, if you’re on the fence and don’t mind the “slippery grip” issue, I’d definitely recommend this product. It’s easy to use and the “Soft” function, at least, is very gentle on sensitive teeth and gums!

Item works as advertised with no noticeable flaws. My teeth / gums definitely feel cleaner after use. There are 3 “speed” settings which control how hard the water comes out. I use the lowest setting and it is still a tad bit too strong and made my gums bleed on first use. I would prefer the low setting be lower. If I want it on blast, I can use the high setting.

Not unique to this brand, but water does tend to get all over the device when using it. You can prevent it from spraying all over the place by just keeping your mouth closed when using. If you’ve never used one, be prepared to clean off your walls when you accidentally hit the button when picking up the device. This thing will spray across an entire room (lol).

This works great, but the “clean” setting for me is very strong and painful. I use the “soft” setting and it works great for cleaning the food out of your teeth. I have trouble using traditional floss, because my teeth are so close together. This has definitely helped my oral care. Overall good product, buttons to change setting are very easy to push and I have had a few accidents with it.

  10. Elena

I was skeptical at first, but my orthodontist recommended I get a water flosser.
This works well, holds a long charge, and has 3 different settings. It’s easy to clean and take a part for travel.
